Can I still build during these times?

Construction is considered an essential service and will continue under the Government’s social distancing guidelines. Builders, land developers, bankers are still conducting business as close to usual as possible and our team are in direct contact with Site Supervisors and Production Estimators managing trades and suppliers, reducing any disruptions to our builds.

Despite some of these services acting remotely, productivity and communication within our builder’s partners is still at the forefront of their every day operation, meaning no one is being left in the dark.

 

How can I design my new house without viewing display villages?

How can I coordinate dealings with the bank, land developer and builder under social distancing rules?

Yes, currently Colour Selections are going ahead, as long as social distancing is observed and as long as both parties haven’t recently returned from overseas, been sick or been exposed to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19. That being said, we are encouraging our clients to take advantage of the great technology available and meet with their Colour Consultant via video link. We can then arrange for some samples to be delivered to your door to allow you to view your choices in real life. 

 

How can I check the progress of my build without actually attending site?

You can’t be on site with us, but our Buildertrend Technology is the next best thing. We understand that knowledge is power and that you feel better when you know what is going on with your build. That’s why we use the most transparent, customer-centric technology in the construction space – to give you around the clock access to your building project. There are also many details that require a trained eye to ensure your home is built to an exceptional quality. As your advocate on site, we conduct 5 major inspections to monitor and manage the standard of work at each stage. These inspections are designed to react to problems before they become expensive or impact upon the quality of your home. After each inspection you’ll receive an inspection report with a ticked off floor plan and photos.

 

Can I still hire removalists during this time?

Yes. Transport and logistics still are considered an essential service and are still operating. Social distancing must still be adhered to and many removalists are enforcing a minimal contact service. We suggest chatting to your removalists about their COVID-19 policy.
