What Happens During the Build?
From the moment construction begins, our dedicated team will work closely with you and our trusted builders to bring your vision to life.
1.
Electrical Inspection
Before the house is sheeted, we’ll meet with the electrician to make sure every single light switch, power point, ceiling fan, light fitting and television point is in the perfect place. Want your television mounted? No worries, we’ll make sure it’s the exact place you nominated. We ensure all of your instructions signed off in the design stage are delivered during construction.

Tiling Inspection
To get the highest quality result, Gold Property Partner’s stresses the 1% of things that most people wouldn’t even notice. Prior to a single tile being laid, we’ll meet with the tiler to review the tiling plan. This involves our cross checking batch numbers to ensure the right tiles have been delivered in the correct quantities, we’ll negotiate grout lines with the tiler, ensuring all mounts are matched and pleasing. By stressing the small details upfront, we avoid the stress and cost of getting it wrong.

Landscaping Meeting
You are welcome to join us in meeting the landscaper to determine the best design for your outdoor spaces. This involves planning grassed and surfaced areas, garden bed and tree placement to best manage lighting and temperature, fence positioning and height, watering system and drainage, as well as all the compliance obligations if you are putting in a pool.
4.
First Quality Assurance Inspection
This is an extremely thorough inspection to ensure your new home exceeds the standards required by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991. Depending on the size of the home, it is normal range for us to pick up on 100 points of defect – so do not be alarmed! We treat every home as if it were our own, ‘dotting’ each defect and documenting with photos before negotiating resolutions with the builder and other trades. It doesn’t matter if your home is worth $200k or $2m, we expect it to be finished to an exceptional quality and will hold all trades accountable.
The Keys to your New Home
We know your home inside and out, after all, we built it with you! We’ll take great pleasure in walking you through a comprehensive handover, showing you every detail of your home as if you were purchasing a new car. We’ll demonstrate how everything works, from what keys work on which door, opening and closing windows, the garage door, operating lights and fans, air-conditioning, kitchen appliances and so on. Your digital manuals and warranties will be stored in your Gold Builder App portal which is accessible to you always. Final reports will be signed off and the keys to your brand-new home will be handed to you! Congratulations!
